Avi will spend one, two, or three days in your school or library, speak­ing with class­rooms and assem­blies, library pro­grams, and book dis­cus­sion groups.

In schools, he is most often asked to speak about his jour­ney as a writer, inspir­ing those who find writ­ing dif­fi­cult … and find­ing ways to write that are impor­tant to them. 

Avi’s mes­sage is all about the impor­tance of read­ing and writ­ing and enjoy­ing both.

A pub­lic library often invites Avi to speak with patrons young and old, some­times spon­sor­ing school vis­its in the area.

For edu­ca­tors and librar­i­ans, Avi often speaks at con­fer­ences, fes­ti­vals, and celebrations.
