I enjoy revisiting A Christmas Carol each year, too, and I love the 1951 film adaptation with Alastair Sim as Scrooge. For me, the story captures the spirit of Easter as much as Christmas because Scrooge’s story is one of redemption and resurrection.
My wife and I watched the film Christmas eve. For the Nth time.
I’d love to know which of those time periods was the most challenging to research. My guess is the 8th century.
