  1. I enjoy revis­it­ing A Christ­mas Car­ol each year, too, and I love the 1951 film adap­ta­tion with Alas­tair Sim as Scrooge. For me, the sto­ry cap­tures the spir­it of East­er as much as Christ­mas because Scrooge’s sto­ry is one of redemp­tion and resurrection.

  2. I’d love to know which of those time peri­ods was the most chal­leng­ing to research. My guess is the 8th century.
